Experimental and numerical studies of the diluent influence (N2, Ar, He, Xe) on stable premixed methane flames in micro-combustion

This work focuses on the diluent influence stable methane flames in a fused silica micro flow reactor (MFR). Experimental and numerical investigations are performed. The first part presents method of performing experiments extracting data from an MFR order to increase reliability experimental results necessary for subsequent simulations. Those methods applied premixed stoichiometric diluted by nitrogen, argon, helium xenon. Methods point out mixture thermodynamic transport properties is presented. A study also undertaken support observations difficult realize such micro-devices.
